Glorious Glazeware

By glazing our flowerpots we are following the ancient crafts of Rome and China giving them an added lustre.

Our flowerpots are hand-thrown on the potter’s wheel and then intricately hand-fettled before they can be coated in a thin layer of white slip which gives a base coat. Each pot is bisque fired to approximately one thousand degrees celcius. After cooling, the glaze coat is applied by dipping into the required colour. Once dried these are loaded back into the kiln - all by hand!

Please protect our glazed pots from frost.
