About our Design & Decorate Workshop
This workshop is for beginners who would like to try their hand at decorating and get to know the basics of the techniques our decorators use here at the pottery. The workshop will be held in the Kiln Shed, which is a large purpose-built studio within our grounds at Whichford Pottery that allows plenty of space to practice.
This workshop will be taught by one of our talented Decorators who have over 25 years combined experience working with clay.
The principles of the techniques are introduced through a series of short demonstrations. The rest of the time will be spent designing and decorating your Whichford flowerpots.
The workshop covers:
- Applying a relief mould
- Inscribing techniques
- Designing and decorating your pot

What you take home: The pot that you decorate on the day. We will fire this for collection three weeks later.
Price: £130 for two-hour course
Course materials
Tools, equipment and aprons will be provided.
Please remember to wear comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting dirty.
